Best Open House Thus Far

Today’s open house was much better than I had previously anticipated.  No, we did not find a buyer but almost every neighbor on the street came by to see how the remodel turned out.  Everyone was very impressed and wished us the best of luck in selling the house.

I still don’t think that an open house is the best way to find a buyer.  However it is a great way for us to showcase are remodel work.

Yes, this property has a video and its in its final steps of production.  I’m looking at a Wednesday release.

Open House Update Part 2

Well there is no question about it its much brighter out today than it was yesterday. Will this have a difference on how many people attend the open house? I think so. The weather is mild currently sitting in the 60’s. The sky is still overcast but the sun looks like its trying to come out. Personally I don’t think it will happen but hey at least its not rainy and wet out.  Follow me on Twitter for updates.

Easy Listening Meets Electonic

A friend of mine in Lawrence, KS turned me on to this group called Ratatat. You can find them on Myspace here. They very impressively combine upbeat rythems and smooth listening. Honestly I’ve listend to all three of their cd’s at least four times a piece. Their music is very non-confrontational and relaxing. Come to think of it this could be great music for an open house.
If your looking for something smooth to listen to I would recommend them. Oh and expect to hear them on a Vizionkc Video sometime in the future.

The Waldo Open House Part 2 The AM Report
