You Know What’s Not Cool? Messy Tenants. Speechless Sunday

I just got done with an eviction and had to share these pictures with you guys.  The funny thing is that we pulled these appliances out of the house in fear that they would be stolen.  Looking back on it I wish they had been stolen.

I understand that cleaning a gas stove isn’t fun. Really I do.  I have one.   But you know what?  I clean mine.  Because if I don’t then one day its going to look like this.

Progresss On 4408 Grandview (Project South KC) Pt. 8

We’re in the finishing stages of our renovation at 4408 Grandview.  Carpet was installed on Friday and the majority of the interior paint was completed on Wednesday.  I can’t wait to get this hosue on the market.  Just look at it.   Couldnt you just call this place home?

Custom Home Renovation

Its Vision With a “Z” in the middle. Not Verizion. Duh.

It appears that some people are very confused about our company name.  Pleae allow me to clear things up.  Its Vision.   Don’t let the “Z”  fool you.  I wasn’t around when the company name was being selected.  Perhaps if I had been I would have pushed for a simpler spelling but since I was not there this is what we’ve got…so deal with it.

You may be asking yourself what drove me to write this blog post now.  After all I’ve been with the company for more than year.  Haven’t I grown a custom to hearing people call the company every variation of its name that you can imagine?  Yes.   But earlier today while I was on the phone spelling the company name to a lady for the fourth time all I could think about was writing this blog post. 

Progress On 4408 Grandview (Project South KC) Pt. 7

Things are finally starting to come together on our renovation at 4408 Grandview.  I love the fact that this house is going to hit the market just as the selling season comes into full swing.  Many of the real estate agents at Glad Heart Realty have been asking us when this house will be done.  Granted its a little early to tell but I’m willing to be we hit a home run with this house.  5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and 2 kitchens right in the heart of the IHOP community.  Needless to say we’re all eager to see how this house sells.

Interior paint was a big focus this week.  This is as photo of the living room leading into the dining area.

Progress On 1010 W 70th Tr. (Project Brookside) Pt. 8

If you haven’t seen it yet I would recommend taking a look at our midweek progress post before checking out this one.  Our renovation of 1010 W 70th Tr is truly in the finishing stages.  Most of this week the painters have been hard at work and those new windows we’ve been wondering about have finally been installed.

As you can see the house is really starting to come together.  This is shot of the front of the house after the new windows had been installed.

Wordless Wednesday I Wonder What The Neighbors Think.

Sure once the house is done its going to be one of the nicest houses on the block.  But during the renovation you’ve really got to wonder what the neighbors are thinking.   A large home renovation like this produces lots of trash.  Sometimes I really do wonder what the neighbors think.  On the plus side once the remodel is done and all the trash is removed another beutiful Vizion home will stand here for years to come.

Progress Post On 1010 W 70th Tr. (Project Brookside) Pt 7.5

Quite frankly so much is taking place on our renovation at 1010 W 70th Tr that I had to make a midweek progress post.  Generally I don’t like to bother the crews while their on the job but today after checking on a few inspection related things at 424 Dartmouth I decided to stop by and see how things were coming.

The new windows are finally being installed on this house.  Honestly I was staring to wonder if these windows were going to get here on time.  According to our head contractor all the windows should be installed today.
