Progress On 2901 Norwood (Project Independence) Pt. 3

Thing are moving along swiftly on our renovation of 2901 Norwood.  Every time I see this house I’m surprised by how much larger it is on the inside than it appears on the outside.  Very deceiving.

This is a shot of the kitchen.  As you can see the cabinets have already been installed.  Lots of cabinet space in this kitchen that’s a rarity for a house that will rent out for $900 per mo.

Progress On 2901 Norwood (Project Independence) Pt. 1

The renovation on 2901 Norwood in Independence started last week.  All we’ve done so far is exterior paint and tear out but I expect that this home will come together very quickly.  This is only the second home Vizion has done in Independence, MO in fact our other home in Independence is about 2 miles away.

As you can see most of the exterior paint has been completed.  It’s hard to believe from looking at this house how large it is on the inside.  4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a full basement that’s hard to beat for under a $1000 per mo.

What Is Project Independence?

Project Independence refers to all Vizion home renovations that take place in the city of Independence , MO. This is a brief overview and history of Independence , MO.

Independence is a city in Clay and Jackson counties in the U.S. state of Missouri, and the fourth largest city in the state. It is part of the Kansas City Metropolitan Area. Located primarily in Jackson County, the city had a total population of 110,704 in 2007.^[3] Independence is one of two county seats of Jackson County,^[4] and is known as the “Queen City of the Trails”^[5] on account of having been the point of departure of the Santa Fe, California and Oregon Trails. Progress on Project Independence.

I stopped by Project Independence today after hearing that the new solid surface granite counter tops had been installed. Carpet got installed yesterday and the house should be finished by Friday.  This is the first house we’ve done in Independence, MO so everyone in the office is very excited for its completion.
