More than $9 billion is currently being invested in the Kansas City area.

It’s been hard not to notice all the changes that have been taking place in Kansas City over the past few years.  According to more than $4 billion has been invested in the area since 2000.

Here are a few of the recently completed projects.

The Power & Lights District — 450,000 square feet of restaurants, clubs, retail and office space spanning nine square blocks in the heart of downtown Kansas City.

The Sprint Center — A new arena seating 18,000 to 20,000 and home to the National Association of Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame.

Zona Rosa — A pedestrian-friendly development encompassing 1.2 million square feet, of retail, office, residential, entertainment and hotel establishments.
